Meet Elizabeth Marquardt
Our professions shape us, but they don’t tell the whole story. We aren’t just social workers, doctors, construction workers, police officers, teachers, or fill-in-the-blank.
People are multifaceted. My career, in its entirety, can fall under social work, but my desire to become an author has nagged at me like an itch I haven’t been able to scratch. Writing has always felt like it’s part of me. My bookshelf overflows the same way my mind does with stories and experiences I want to share.
When you feel that itch for a passion, all I can say is get after it. It’s not going anywhere.
Elizabeth Marquardt resides in the Midwest with her Greater Swiss Mountain Dog named Sully, who might as well be a baby bear. She’s passionate about God, photography, food (sushi has half of her heart), hiking, and any words strung together that make her stop and think.
